Via del Boschetto is a charming street in the heart of the Monti district of the Centro Storico that is home to a gamut of restaurants for all budgets, fashionable boutiques and independent designers. A bohemian neighbourhood that has been lively and vibrant since Roman times, you are basically within 15 minutes walk from Termini, the Colosseum, the Spanish Steps, Via del Corso, or the Roman Forum. There are also several buses that pass along Via Nazionale that can take you anywhere in the city.
The Rione Monti and particularly the neighbourhood of the Suburra has been a ‘bohemian’, to say the least, area since Roman times. With a reputation of having been lively or even rowdy during the classical age, it’s proximity to the first populated hills of the eternal city means that it is likely to have been the host of numerous night life spots for over 2000 years.
